Founded as part of a town recreation progam back in 1962. Millbrook Youth Hockey Association, Inc has today evolved into an independent not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing quality ice hockey programs for boys and girls in the Mid Hudson Valley. Our mission is to educate our players about this wonderful game and to develop character, loyalty, sportsmanship, a sense of fair play and a genuine love for the game through participation in our progams.

Hockey skill development is an important part of the MYHA program. Our coaches are USA Hockey certified and are selected on the basis of their knowledge and their ability to convey that knowledge to young players. In addition to its own coaching staff, MYHA brings in outside professionals from time to time to teach our players in a clinic format.

MYHA has something for every skater. The entry level for MYHA programs is the "Learn toSkate" program for children who are new to ice skating and the game of ice hockey. Our "House League" program is a competitive recreational program offering games between in-house teams and neighboring organizations. Our "Travel Teams" are the most competitive level and are designed for players with advanced skills.

MYHA members come from throughout Dutchess County, Ulster County, Columbia County and other neighboring communities.
